West Library collecting donations for Meals on Wheels

The TXWES community has been the largest donor of Meals on Wheels client Christmas gifts in Tarrant County for the past 11 years. The West Library has been collecting gifts, monetary donations and pet food for the MOW clients for 16 years.

Because of COVID, we are changing the format of donations this year.

We are taking monetary donations to fulfill as many of the Client requests as we can. Please drop your donation of any amount, cash or check (made out to Meals on Wheels), into the box on the circulation desk by Friday, Nov. 20.

If you would like to sponsor a specific item, you will find a list with prices attached to the donation box. Use an envelope to enclose your gift and indicate what item you are purchasing. Please consider donating to the Meals on Wheels clients. The median age of clients is 76 and their median monthly income is just $1,200. Let's continue the proud tradition of Texas Wesleyan helping out our neighbors!
