Mark your calendars: Table tennis season starts in January

Texas Wesleyan's 11-time national championship table tennis team is getting ready to defend their title once again.

Tournament play begins in January, so mark your calendars now and make plans to help cheer on our world-renowned table tennis team as they go for it all.

Check out the list of tournaments Texas Wesleyan is hosting this spring: 

Jan. 31 – Texas Wesleyan Open

Want to test your skills against the best? This tournament is open to the public. For registration information and pricing, email head coach Jasna Rather at jrather@txwes.edu.

Feb. 7 – NCTTA Divisional Tournament

Watch Texas Wesleyan take on divisional rivals like UT-Austin, UNT, Texas A&M and UT-Dallas live from the Sid Richardson Center. Winners will head to regionals.

Feb. 21-22 – NCTTA Regional Tournament

Top teams from the divisional tournaments will advance to regionals, again hosted by Texas Wesleyan in the Sid Richardson Center gym. Help the team give a Texas-sized welcome to competitors from Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana. There will be 12 colleges and universities in all in town. Winners will advance to the national championships in Eau Claire, Wis. April 10-12.

March 6-8 – U.S. National Team Trials and Pan American Team Trials

Come watch the top players in the U.S. vie for a spot on the national team. 

Game times and tournament schedule to be announced.
