Texas Wesleyan has implemented a new content management system that gives faculty and staff the power to shape their department’s website by creating and editing content. Beginning Thursday, Aug. 15, we will be offering training sessions for all University employees.

The sessions will not only teach you how to use the new system, but also how to create and manage content that allows you to get the most out of your site. You will receive a crash course in basic functions as well as a brief content-authoring workshop that will help you understand

  • Who your audience is
  • What you must do to reach them effectively
  • How to be consistent in the delivery of your message

The course begins at 8:30 a.m. and will be held in AMB 214. After lunch, we will offer a "catch-up course" from 1-3:30 p.m. for those that have missed a previous training session. If you’ve already attended all three sessions, the day ends at noon.

Both the morning and afternoon sessions must be completed in order to be approved to edit and create content. If you are unable to attend for the full day, you may schedule a make-up session on another day the course is offered.

Space is limited to 18 participants for each session. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
