During the 2022-23 Town Hall meetings, President Slabach will share examples of how our faculty, staff and students are furthering the Engage 2025 Strategic Plan, and we need your help to tell those stories.

Each of us plays a unique role in the mission of Texas Wesleyan University. This mission includes work by faculty and staff to "facilitate success among students from all backgrounds in all levels of undergraduate, graduate and professional programs in persisting in college degrees that enhance their own lives, the lives of their families and the strength of their communities."

To support this mission, Texas Wesleyan's Engage 2025 Strategic Plan focuses on:

  • Engaging in learning
  • Engaging in community
  • Engaging in leadership

Are you working on a new academic program or initiative for student success? Are you a staff member who supports the student experience and encourages their academic journey? Do you work with our surrounding community? No matter how big or small, we want to know more about your story.

Here are some examples of how our Smaller. Smarter. RAMily is making a difference.

  • The Department of Music repainted and renovated their space in the Ann Waggoner Annex
  • Dr. Chris Ohan and the Sumners Scholars volunteered their time at the Tarrant Area Food Bank
  • Eugene Frier was reelected to the National Association of Collegiate Esports Board of Directors
  • The Executive Staff and faculty members participated in Opal's Walk for Freedom to commemorate Juneteenth

Your stories and experiences are an essential part of what makes Texas Wesleyan Smaller. Smarter. We want to celebrate the impact each of you makes in our TXWES community. All we need from you is a quick description of what you're up to on this survey.
