Emergency Preparedness Training sessions scheduled for April 13 & 27

Campus Security and Risk Management are teaming up to present emergency training for all university employees. Attendance is mandatory, sign-up today.

Campus Security and Risk Management are hosting mandatory Emergency Preparedness Training sessions for all faculty and staff this spring.

There are two remaining sessions scheduled for April:

  • April 13, 12:15 – 1 p.m., Science Lecture Theatre
  • April 27, 12:15 – 1 p.m., Science Lecture Theatre

*Registration is no longer required for these sessions. There will be sign-in sheets at the door to confirm your attendance.

The University is requiring that all faculty and staff members attend Emergency Preparedness Training sessions this spring, all of which will be held in the Science Lecture Theatre in the McFadden Building.

Chris Beckrich, head of Campus Security, will present the 45-minute training session. Other topics include how to respond in an active shooter or hostage situation, evacuation procedures, utilities information and Title IX compliance.
