Season 2 of the award-winning “Titletown, TX” series launches on Facebook Watch Wed., Jan. 24. The documentary series follows the rebirth of Texas Wesleyan football since WWII.

Filmmaker Jared Christopher was honored with two Lone Star Sports Emmys, one for Program Series and another for Direction for his work on season 2 of the documentary series Titletown, TX. Entitled “Hail Mary,” the 10-episode season chronicled Texas Wesleyan’s return to football in 2017 after a 75-year hiatus.

Titletown followed the team’s trials and tribulations through an eventful season full of practices, workouts and touchdowns. Christopher documented all the ups and downs the Rams experienced at every game as well as many of their personal stories.

“Special thanks to @TexasWesleyan and @TxWesFootball for joining me on the journey,” Christopher tweeted. He also tweeted his thanks to photographer Brandon Wade for helping him film 10 out of the 11 games the Rams played in.
