Donate to a good cause during the School of Arts and Letters Bear Hunt

09.18.2018 | By: Texas Wesleyan University

The School of Arts & Letters and the International Association of Business Communicators want all your teddy bears and stuffed animals to donate to the Fort Worth Police Department’s East Division during the School of Arts and Sciences Bear Hunt.

About the Bear Hunt

The furry friends will be handed out by officers in Fort Worth PD’s East Division to children to comfort them during crisis situations. The stuffed animals give children something calming and tangible to hold onto when life gets hard and serve as an invaluable tool for officers that helps them connect with children.

How do I donate?

The stuffed animals should be new, lightly used or in good condition and small to medium in size. Please deliver them to the Office of the Dean of the School of Arts & Letters at Polytechnic United Methodist Church, suite 256 now through Oct. 22. If you'd like to know more, please contact Wiley Lindsey at 817-531-4900 or Karan Muns at
