Jhonniece Meeks earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and her Master of Arts in Communications Studies at UT Tyler. She also holds graduate certificates in Organizational and Leadership Development (UT Tyler) and Instructional Learning and Design Technology (UT Arlington). Prior to her role at Texas Wesleyan, she's served in roles including Enrollment Coach, Communications Specialist, Special Programs Coordinator, and Career Development Specialist. Her professional values of creativity, curiosity, and connection have shone in each area of her life. In her free time, Jhonniece enjoys cooking, producing street photography, and binging Living Single.

I aim to develop meaningful partnerships with employers that inform our student development programming. I also assist students with developing their career narrative and highlight their strengths in resume reviews and mock interview sessions.
