Texas Wesleyan Gay-Straight Alliance Presents Second Annual Spring Drag Show

The Texas Wesleyan Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Spring Drag Show, scheduled to take place on March 22, 2024, at Martin Hall. Following the resounding success of last year's event, this year's show promises an evening filled with electrifying performances, empowerment and community support.

Featuring an exciting lineup of local drag performers, including the captivating Miss Venom, the fabulous Crystal Cartier, and the enchanting Aalegra Dell Daze, along with the incomparable Deja Dubois as the host, the Spring Drag Show is set to dazzle audiences with mesmerizing lip-sync battles and jaw-dropping costume transformations

The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can arrive early to engage with local LGBTQ+ resources at a small resource fair being held before the show. This fair allows attendees to connect with valuable resources and support networks before immersing themselves in the vibrant energy of the main event.

"The TXWES Gay-Straight Alliance is excited to host the Spring Drag Show because it provides an exciting and safe environment for self expression to any and all people. It also introduces them to the art this is drag," said GSA President, Alyssa Ansley.

The event is open to everyone in the Texas Wesleyan community to attend. Tickets for the Spring Drag Show are free of charge, with attendees encouraged to bring cash to tip the performers and show their appreciation for their artistry and talent.

The Spring Drag Show is proudly sponsored by Student Diversity and Inclusion Programs, an organization dedicated to fostering a campus environment that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion, and supports the needs of all students.
