Phi Alpha Theta (ΦΑΘ) is an American honor society for undergraduate and graduate students and professors of history. The society has more than 350,000 members, with about 9,500 new members joining each year through 860 local chapters. The Omega Zeta Chapter was chartered at Texas Wesleyan on April 23, 1979.
As a member of Phi Alpha Theta, you have the opportunity to be published in the honor society's educational journal. You'll also have the opportunity to attend the regional Phi Alpha Theta conference each spring.
Membership to Phi Alpha Theta is by invitation only. Faculty members nominate students based on their GPA and number of credit hours. Once you join, you'll pay a one-time fee and then enjoy a lifetime membership.
