Two History Students Awarded NSDAR Scholarships

Texas Wesleyan history majors Clara Friedlander and Chloe Mefford were awarded book scholarships for the upcoming academic year from two National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) chapters: the NSDAR Mary Isham Keith Chapter and NSDAR Six Flags Chapter.

Clara Friedlander was presented with the award at the meeting of the Mary Isham Keith Chapter on Thursday, May 4 and Chloe Mefford at the Six Flags Chapter meeting, held at the Ridglea Country Club, on Saturday, May 6. Both Ms. Friedlander and Ms. Mefford are history majors who plan to teach on the secondary level.

These two generous Fort Worth NSDAR chapters award scholarships in the spring to outstanding female history students.
