The physics program supports all Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) and Pre-Health Science programs. In your physics classes, you'll learn about Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics, spectroscopy and more. In class, you'll learn to analyze information and improve your inductive and deductive reasoning skills and communicate scientifically.
Small classes create a dynamic learning environment and give students more one-on-one time with their professor. A minor in physics gives you a foundation for careers in computer science, chemistry, biology and many other healthcare related fields.
We recently added new courses to the curriculum including an introductory, conceptual astronomy class and an algebra-based introduction to physics with an emphasis in mechanics. Browse through the full list of physics courses offered at Texas Wesleyan.
