The event, characterized as “Shark Tank meets social innovations,” will be held from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 2, at Four Day Weekend comedy club located at 312 Houston St., Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

“I’m excited and honored to be part of this fun and important event for the second year," Wright said. "We have so many social innovators in this area, and this event provides a stage for them to introduce themselves to the larger community! Kudos to United Way for putting it together.”

What is “KERNEL LIVE!”?

United Way’s “KERNEL LIVE!” event hosts some of North Texas' brightest minds, as Shark Tank meets social innovations. Each contestant will pitch creative solutions to critical issues affecting our community. Community investors will then decide who will receive $10,000 or more in seed money to grow their social innovations.
