Join the Accounting Society
Are you a business student interested in accounting? Then join the Accounting Society. You'll have the opportunity to network with other business students and professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As an organization, we also participate in activities such as softball tournaments, bake sales, other accounting organization events and more.
We're open to all business students, not just accounting majors. Our meetings are once a month during the academic year. Each meeting, we invite a guest speaker in to share their experiences in the accounting industry and network with students like you. Required undergraduate research
As part of your forensic and fraud accounting courses, you'll do required research working with actual fraudulent cases and gathering data. You'll also have the opportunity to present your research at conferences in your field.
