Yes! All graduates to participate in the Fall Commencement Ceremony are required to RSVP no later than 11:50 p.m. on Friday, Dec 12.

Graduates who do not RSVP for the commencement ceremony will be ineligible to participate. A graduate who misses the RSVP deadline is invited to participate in the following semester's commencement ceremony.

Graduates must successfully order or purchase their regalia to be eligible to RSVP for the commencement ceremony.

Graduates will need their student ID and TXWES email to RSVP to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Graduates who fail to place their order by the designated deadline can purchase their regalia directly from the University Campus Bookstore beginning November 22. All purchases must be made in-person and an additional fee will apply. Selected items are not guaranteed to be in stock — quantities are limited.  

In the event you are unable to obtain your regalia, you will be ineligible to participate in graduation ceremonies. However, you will be given the opportunity to participate in the ceremony the following term.

Yes. Your regalia fee will need to be paid when you place your order. We encourage graduates to order early.

Graduates who placed their order by November 21 will have their regalia shipped directly to them. Graduates who missed the deadline can purchase their regalia directly from the University Campus Bookstore beginning on November 22 — quantities are limited. Regalia purchased at the University Campus Bookstore will be received at the time of purchase.

Graduates are allowed to decorate the top of your graduation cap. Please make sure that it will not block the view of the guest sitting behind you, and it must be in good taste. Caps decorated in poor taste will not be allowed.

Graduates who submitted an RSVP are allowed 15 guests. There are no physical tickets, your guests do not need them to attend.

No. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.  

Special arrangements are not required for children under the age of two who will be seated in an adult's lap for the duration of the ceremony. Per the fire marshal, children older than two years are considered a guest.
