The Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 10 a.m. at the MacGorman Chapel on the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary campus.

The Commencement Ceremony will be held at the MacGorman Chapel on the campus of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Do family members and guests need tickets?

No, graduates who submitted an RSVP are allowed 15 guests. There are no physical tickets, you do not need a ticket to attend.

What time do doors open for Commencement?

Doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony start for all guests. Guests not seated by the time of the ceremony start will not be permitted in until the processional has ended.

Are there reserved seats?

No, seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are cameras allowed?

Absolutely! We welcome you to take as many photos as you can. We just ask that you do it from your seat. Standing in the aisles is not permitted.

Do children require a ticket for commencement?

Special arrangements are not required for children under the age of two who will be seated in an adult's lap for the duration of the ceremony. Per the fire marshal, children older than two years are considered a guest.
