The Texas Wesleyan Student Veterans Club is starting a new graduation tradition to honor students who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces and demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence.

Graduating veterans will receive their military honor cords from Texas Wesleyan University President Frederick G. Slabach in a special ceremony from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 in the Baker Building. Refreshments will be served.

To be eligible to receive military honor cords, a student must have served or must be currently serving in the military. For more information, contact Kadedra Miller
