Emily Hunt was presented with the award at the meeting of Mary Isham Keith Chapter on Thursday, May 2 and Amber Coronado at the Six Flags Chapter meeting, held at the Ridglea Country Club on Saturday, May 4. Both Ms. Hunt and Ms. Coronado are history majors and seeking secondary teaching certification.

Each NSDAR chapter awards scholarships in the spring to one outstanding female history student who plans to enter the teaching field.
