At A Distance uses inspiration from the most prolific authors, poets, philosophers and playwrights to tell the story of two strangers who discover a shared appreciation for solitude and a love of classical literature. The play includes additional material by writers including William Shakespeare, Molière, Emily Dickinson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Walt Whitman and more.

All tickets for At A Distance will be free.  Just use the code FREE at checkout.

When and where will the production be performed?

The production will be performed on the lawn of the Kay Granger Mall at Texas Wesleyan University (1201 Wesleyan Street, 76105)

At A Distance will not have matinee performances.

How much are tickets and will we follow social distancing?

All tickets are free and service fees will be waived. Just use the code FREE at check-out.

Reservations for At A Distance will be available online at txwes.edu/theatretickets or by calling (817) 531-4211.

Upon arrival, patrons will be ushered to a spot on the lawn of Kay Granger Mall. All spots will be located 6 to 10 feet away from others. Patrons should bring their own blanket, chair or seating for the performance. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on campus. Smoking and alcohol are prohibited.

Faculty, staff and students, as well as audience members who attend At A Distance, will follow recommended social distancing guidelines.

With The Lodger and SabotageVintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play is an exciting double feature – complete with vintage commercials – that recreates iconic scenes and chase sequences through the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring.

Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play will not have matinee performances. There are currently no plans to make this production available for streaming.

How much are tickets and will we follow social distancing?

Like a drive-in, patrons will pay by the carload for just $20.  Tickets will be available online at txwes.edu/theatretickets or by calling (817) 531-4211.  There are currently no plans to stream this production.

Because parking space is limited for each performance, it is highly recommended that patrons purchase their tickets in advance and arrive early to secure their spot. Student ushers will be on-hand to direct each car to an available designated parking space.

If you do not own a car, but would like to experience the production by bringing your own seating (i.e. a lawn chair), please contact us directly. Faculty, staff and students, as well as audience members who attend Vintage Hitchcock, will follow recommended social distancing guidelines.
