Research Interests

Professor Rich's primary research interests are in the area of biophysics and especially time-correlated, single molecule fluorescence microscopy. Specifically, he is interested in extremely sensitive detection of low-abundance biomolecules and the effects of disease on cell motility. Also, Professor Rich is continuing to develop novel methods of increasing contrast for imaging in highly dense tissue specimen.
