About Professor Aragao
Dr. Aragao joined Texas Wesleyan in Fall 2023 as a Visiting Professor of Management. Her primary research interest is in “knowledge”. The research emphasizes the mechanisms that allow firms to acquire and store knowledge for future use. She is also interested in
examining what drives knowledge creation and acquisition, and the role climate plays in this process. Overall, her research interests relate to organizational learning, organizational memory, absorptive capacity, innovation, exploitation, exploration, voice climate, social media, and virtual work settings.
Dr. Aragao was promoted starting Fall 2024 from Visiting Professor of Management to Assistant Professor of Management. Previously she has worked as a Project Manager, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Systems Analyst.
