Dr. Cornelius is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at John Peter Smith Hospital, in Fort Worth Texas, a Level 1 trauma center where his practice consists primarily of emergency and trauma anesthesia. He has over 25 years’ experience in anesthesia, prehospital, emergency and critical care to include work as a paramedic, flight/ICU nurse, deputy/tactical paramedic and CRNA.  His research interests include trauma resuscitation, hemostasis, austere and disaster medicine.
