Methodist Scholarships

‌‌‌Texas Wesleyan University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and receives funding from the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation and conferences located in Texas to support scholarship programs for Texas Wesleyan students.

United Methodist Higher Education Foundation Scholarships

  • Who: Methodist students must be active members (minimum of one year prior to applying for the scholarship) of a recognized United Methodist Church.

Clergy and Dependent Matching Scholarship

  • Amount: Varies - Texas Wesleyan will match up to $2,500 annually with the amount from your Methodist Church
  • Who: Students who are dependents of Clergy members of a Methodist Church
  • Other Criteria: Texas Wesleyan offers this matching scholarship based on full-time enrollment (12 credit hours or more) to United Methodist Clergy's dependents each academic year.
