Partner Scholarship

Community Partners

At TXWES we value our partners. That's why if you're a part of any of the organizations that we partner with, we'll automatically add an extra $1,000 scholarship to your financial aid package — it's that easy!* Check out our community partners below.

Freshman Students:

Transfer Students:

*Eligibility requires confirmation services were provided to the student. The scholarship applies to students enrolled as full-time undergraduate students. Full-time enrollment requires students to earn at least 12 credit hours per semester.  
† To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a new enrolling student and submit the Pathway enrollment form at least two full semesters before your desired start term at Texas Wesleyan University.

Organizations also partner with us to offer scholarships to select students. You'll have to contact the individual partner organization for more information and specific instructions on how to apply.

Hatton W. Sumners Scholarship

Amount

Up to $5,500 per semester  (12-16 credit hours)

Who is eligible?

Students who have 60 academic hours before the fall term when the scholarship begins, a minimum 3.0 GPA, are in good standing with Texas Wesleyan, participate in campus or civic activities that benefit the university/community and are U.S. citizens.

Tarrant To & Through (T3) Last Dollar Scholarship

On top of the TXWES Community Partner Scholarship, TXWES is proud to offer the T3 Last Dollar Scholarship to all eligible T3 students. It covers any remaining tuition costs after all your financial aid has been applied — that means it gives you all the money you need to pay the rest of your tuition. No need to break the piggy bank. 

T3 Last Dollar Deadlines:  

  • TXWES Admissions application due: March 1  
  • Submit FAFSA/TASFA to TXWES: March 11
