"Human Life itself may be almost pure chaos, but the work of the artist is to take these handfuls of confusion and disparate things, things that seem to be irreconcilable, and put them together in a frame to give them some kind of shape and meaning,"
-- Katherine Anne Porter.
The Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio Gallery is the main exhibition space at Texas Wesleyan University. Along with serving as a teaching tool, the gallery exhibits the works of students, faculty and local and regional artists.
Most exhibits include an artist lecture and reception, allowing the artists to connect with both students and the community. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Check out the gallery hours.
Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio is no longer accepting proposals for 2019-Spring/Summer 2020 exhibition season. The next call for submissions will be early fall 2020.
