Payment Plan

The policy of Texas Wesleyan University is that payment is due by the posted due date. If you register after that date, payment is due upon registration. All tuition, fees and other related costs should be paid at the Cashier's Office on the day registration takes place.

If electing to use a payment plan, this should be activated on the day of registration. A $122 late fee is assessed to all students who re-register after being withdrawn for non-payment during late registration.

You may set up your payment plan online through Ramlink by using your checking account, or charging your Visa Card, Master Card, American Express or Discover Card. The payment plan is provided by Nel-Net Business Solutions (Facts).  

Payments are processed automatically on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full. Please be aware your payment amount will automatically increase and decrease accordingly to ensure your account is satisfied with Texas Wesleyan University.

The cost to participate is $25 per semester non-refundable enrollment fee. (ACH & credit/debit card) and there is a $30 fee if payment is returned due to FACTS Tuition Plan.

Each term requires a new payment plan.

Instructions for setting up the payment plan

  1. Log onto Ramlink and select Make a Payment Plan under the Cashier's Office Listing
  2. This will transfer you to the third party vendor (Nel-Net) that processes the automatic payment plan
  3. They will ask you to fill out the form with information: name, address, student ID #, phone number and other contact and banking information.
  4. Then it will take you to the type of payment plans. It is recommended that you set up your plan early to have the most payments
  5. It will provide a breakdown of your balance and how much the payments will be each month.
  6. The last step is how do you want to make the payments, from a checking account, savings account or credit card charge. The method you choose will be charged monthly on the 5th for the payment.
  7. It will give you a review. If you agree, submit and it is finished. Payments will automatically be charged to your credit card or checking account and then posted to the student account. It could take up to 5 days for the payments to show on the student account.
  8. There are no payment plans available for May terms.

Payment plans will self-adjust for charges added or removed, but the changes must occur 12 days prior to the payment date of the 5th to affect the payment. If the amounts are not what you anticipated, then do not set up the payment plan at that point. Contact the cashier's office.

Visit https://secure.factstuition.com/facts/mypmtplan to review your payment plan. This is the login that you entered when  setting up the payment plan. This will direct you to the Nel-Net (facts) website for your specific payment plan for information.

Common Questions

How do I set up a payment plan?

Set up a payment plan online with e-Cashier:

  1. Log into your RamLink Account.
  2. Click on Make a Payment under the Financial Information section.
  3. Authenticate your account with your student ID number
  4. Choose which term you wish to view.
  5. Choose one of the payment plan options.

How do I make a payment in full?

You can make a full or partial payment online for a term payment at     Make an Account Payment

Please allow 3-4 business days mailing time to ensure payment is received on or before the payment due date, or you can pay online for the current semester with e-Cashier:

It can take 3 to 4 days before a payment can been seen on the student account.

What if I am on a payment plan but I receive additional financial aid to reduce my remaining balance?

Your tuition payment plan will automatically update as your balance increases, decreases, or if payment is no longer necessary. If payment is no longer necessary the school will send an update periodically to the payment plan provider. Please know updates are subject to processing times from Texas Wesleyan University and the payment plan provider. How do I know whether I should contact the Office of Financial Aid or the Cashier's Office?

The Office of Financial Aid handles student financial aid awarding and processing. The Cashier's Office handles student account balances, payments, book vouchers, and refund checks.

What if I get Financial Aid from a Third Party (Such as Texas Tomorrow Fund or DARS)?

If you receive tuition reimbursement from any third party payer (such as Texas Tomorrow Fund, DARS, or Veterans benefits) you must contact the cashier's office each semester for verification. You will need to complete an agreement form and an acknowledgment form. You need to be aware that any remaining balance, the student is responsible for. And no advances are posted on third party payments.

What if I have submitted my FAFSA and I have not been awarded yet? What can I do to save my class roles?

Payment is due Dec. 5,  for Spring. Summer  is due May 5, and Fall  is due Aug. 5 . You must pay in full OR set up a payment plan while you await your financial aid award. At My Facts (Nel-Net), you can check payment status, payment due dates, payment amounts, and other important account information in real time. This service is only available to students currently enrolled on a payment plan.
