RamAlert Mobile Emergency App
Find “Everbridge 360” in App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Texas Wesleyan students, faculty, and staff now have more ways to stay safe on and around campus, thanks to the Office of Safety and Security rolling out Everbridge 360 as our official safety app.
Features to help you stay safe include:
- Quick emergency calls to Campus Security and 911
- Geo-location tools to share your location if your safety is threatened
- Access to emergency procedures and resources – no searching required
- The Safe Corridor feature to request virtual real-time monitoring while walking on or near campus, reducing the need for emergency call boxes on campus
NOTE: You will continue to receive safety alerts as usual. This app is for on-campus use only.
Once outside the campus, please call 911 for assistance in your jurisdiction.
Go ahead and get set up now!
Follow these steps:
- Step 1: Download the Everbridge App 1. Find “Everbridge 360” in App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Tap to download and install the app on your device.
- Step 2: Set Up Your Account
- Open the app once it is installed, enter the organization code: RamAlert
- Log in using your university email address and password (single sign-on)
- You will be prompted to authenticate your login.
- Allow the app to send you push notifications and access location services—this ensures you receive real-time safety alerts and that campus security can respond quickly if needed.
- Step 3: Explore the Key Features
- Check in: If you need to be located on campus while speaking with security, press the “Check in” button to share your location.
- Call Campus Security or 911: Use the quick-dial buttons for immediate help.
- Emergency Procedures: Access guides for fire, severe weather, active threat, medical emergencies, and other situations.
- Safe Corridor: Request a virtual escort; if you do not check in with your code within your designated time frame, the system will signal an SOS to security.
- SOS/Panic: When SOS is activated, security will be notified of a potential emergency and will call you back immediately. If you do not (or cannot) answer, and if your location services, video, and microphone services are enabled on the app, security will be able to locate your GPS position and capture a short recording of what is happening at your location. Security will then send officers to your notified location to assist you. This button can also be used as a panic button to notify security of an emergency.
- Step 4: Stay Informed and Prepared
- Keep the app installed and notifications enabled to receive urgent alerts (e.g., severe weather, campus closures, safety threats).
- Familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures, so you know what to do before an incident occurs.
- Update the app regularly to ensure you have the latest safety features.
- Consider moving the Everbridge 360 app to your phone’s home screen, so it’s easy to access in an emergency.
