Richard Bishop, Ph.D., LMFT-S, LPC-S, AAMFT Approved Supervisor in Arlington, Texas. Dr. Bishop is the former President of the Texas Association for Marriage & Family Therapy and the former Chair of the AAMFT Ethics Committee. He is the recipient of the TAMFT Meritorious Service Award and the AAMFT Divisional Leadership Award and serves as a COAMFTE Site Visitor. He has been a trainer for managed behavioral healthcare companies and served as the EAP counseling consultant for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club for 6 seasons. Dr. Bishop has over 20 years experience as a Marriage & Family Therapist, delivered over 40 professional presentations in Texas, the U.S. and Canada.
