The application deadline for the fall 2025 cohort is November 1, 2024.
Start Your Application with NursingCAS Application Requirements:
- Essay
- Official GRE score
- Official transcripts
- Copies of licenses and certifications
- Recommendations
- Application fee payment
- College-level chemistry course (taken within 3 years of program start date with a B or better)
- College-level algebra course (with a grade of B or better)

Interviews are in January
Qualified applicants will be notified for an interview.

Acceptance notifications sent between Jan. 30 - Feb. 15
Acceptance notifications will go out after interviews in January through the beginning of February and will include the assigned clinical site. Acceptance of your seat, confirmation of your assigned clinical site and payment of your seat deposit all must be completed within 14 calendar days of notification.

Credentialing is due
Once their clinical site is accepted, new students are required to complete a credentialing process before they are able to register for classes. You'll need to meet some requirements as part of the credentialing process.
Keep in mind, each clinical site in the entry-level DNAP program has different credentialing requirements.

- A combined Verbal and Quantitative score of 300 and an Analytical Writing score of 3 strongly preferred (Reporting code: 6828)
- Official transcripts
- Copies of licenses and certifications
- Recommendations
- Application fee payment
- College-level chemistry course (taken within 3 years of program start date with a B or better)
- Accepted applicants who are missing the chemistry pre-requisite will have the opportunity to enroll in a chemistry course taught by TXWES nurse anesthesia faculty in March 2026. Please contact graduate admissions for more information.
